Past Events
June 2021 We benefitted from Commonwealth Brewing Co hosting the Creatives and Drafts Collective and we got to speak to a lot of local people about our mission.
December 2019 We had a very successful Dart Tournament Fundraiser at Chemistry on Atlantic Ave to kick of our goal of installing a wheelchair accessible swing in VB.
October 2019 Our second annual celebration, the Hunter Berns Foundation “Life of the Party” event, was also at Leaping Lizard Cafe in Virginia Beach and it was even more fun than the first one and brought in more than 8,000 dollars to support our projects.
September 2019 Hunter’s favorite Flautas spot- Tijuana Flats in VB hosted a great spirit night for us just a week before what would have been Hunter’s 24th birthday.
October 2019 Our first ever event, Life of the Party 2018 hosted by Leaping Lizard raised $4000! In addition to ticket sales for our delicious dinner, we had a very successful silent auction of items from local artists and businesses. This helped to fund Cameron’s scholarship, Young Life Capernaum Surf Day, Samuel’s weekend trip, and the CHKD playroom updates.
