Projects

Current Goals

We are raising money to install a wheelchair accessible swing at one of Hunter’s favorite local parks!

Annual Projects

Hunter was an avid racer and surfer, which you may not have known! We support these projects in an ongoing way to keep them accessible to children of all abilities.

We continue to support runners from the West Building at Princess Anne High School who want to race in his name during PA’s Love Run every February, and the Young Life Capernaum Surf Camp every summer.

2022

We partnered with Adler Therapy Group to host Sibshops for the first time! Hunter’s brothers and sisters grew up as part of this important community support group for the siblings of children with special needs.

2021

We sponsored lunch for the Jake Hardison Memorial Tournament at Azalea Little League, an annual Challenger Baseball tournament that hosted players from all over the state. Was great to get back outside!

2020

We had a quiet indoor year, like many of you. We know that children like Hunter are at high risk from any illness, and we kept things low-key to do our part.

2019

CHKD Radiothon
The Foundation donated $1,000 to Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters, to support their mission to help other children they way they helped Hunter.

Capernaum Camp Weekend
Samuel, a 20 year old student at Green Run High School was able to join Young Life Capernaum on a weekend trip to Great Wolf Lodge. Capernaum is their special needs section, and Samuel had a blast. He told us the slides were fast and that they were the best part. The foundation has also sponsored his week long summer camp trip for 2019.

Capernaum Young Life Surfing day
The Foundation also is sponsoring the 2019 Young Life Capernaum Surfing Day, which allows children with any disability an opportunity to surf. Hunter used to participate in this event every year!

CHKD Playroom
The foundation donated over $1000 dollars to update the CHKD playroom, and hosted our first craft day there in Summer 2019. Hunter and his brothers and sisters spent many afternoons here.
